ONLINE TRAINING BENEFITS: , No travel costs , Consistent schedule for 4 weeks , Same curriculum with instructor led course 2021 , October 12-15, 2021 Orleans Arena | Las Vegas, NV , May 17-20, 2022 NARCE | Buffalo, NY Participants will learn the skills necessary to create a quality sheet of ice, from a bare refrigerated floor to a completed skating surface. This course combines in-class and on-ice instruction of proper ice making and painting techniques. The class will paint the ice white with spraying equipment, measure and paint hockey markings, paint stenciled logos and install reusable logos. This course also covers building conditions and the relationship to ice quality. Participants will complete a written exam on the final day of the course. Presentations on energy management and new technologies, facility cleaning, and preventative maintenance, help round out this course.
