SCORE Pit Services – Overlanding Perspective Off-Road Adventures have always been more than just heading off to camp at a location for Baja races. Over 91% of SCORE Journal racers and enthusiast fan base participate in outdoor activities. In this issue we showcase the latest in what would be required from the best sources of all, being the SCORE Pit Service staff that man those remote locations and living out there for days on end. Check out the great story that SCORE Journal Editor, Dan Sanchez, researched that presented the Overlanding equipment market usage from a unique perspective through the highly valuable SCORE Pit Service’s staff. These services are a main contributing factor for many teams to be able to compete in SCORE races, as we have the most challenges of any motorsports activity. These team support services are well known for their hospitality for their team clientele and others in need, but we turned the question on these organizations as to what equipment they need or use for their operations. Read more of what they would like to have as part of their pit activities and beyond, to meet their off-road camping/Overlanding activity needs. In this issue, we turn the spotlight on the lighting category manufacturers and products that are currently being used in SCORE desert racing and other recreational activities. We speak with these manufacturers regarding their product’s critical importance in off-road motorsports activities.
