Day Stage
With cutting-edge programming from the Film and Interactive Conferences,
the Film and Interactive Day Stage is the best place to catch interviews,
book readings and film trailers from these converging industries. For the
ultimate Convergence experience, don't miss the session "The Smartest
Dumbass" on Tuesday, March 11 at 3:30pm to witness SXSW Interactive
and Film panelists duke it out for the title of Smartest Dumbass.
Book Readings
Authors have always been a big part of SXSW Interactive and we think it's
important to showcase some of the most interesting new titles related to
creativity and innovation in media. Join authors like Allie Brosh, Patrick
Tucker, Christina Wodtke, Dan Roam, and many others at the Day Stage
for 20-minute sessions where they will share a sample of their most recent
work, and in most cases, followed by a book signing.
SX Bookstore Book Signings
Located outside of the Day Stage, the SX Bookstore presented by Barnes
& Noble, will feature book signings by high-profile authors and a uniquely
curated selection of books. The list below is just a sample of some of the
authors that will available for signings. See the online schedule for a com-
plete schedule.
