GOLDANDBLACK EXPRESS • VOLUME 25, EXPRESS 13 • 14 F O O T B A L L G A L L E R Y Akeem Hunt's 82-yard touchdown run gave Purdue a 10-point lead with 9:25 left in the third quarter. It was the lon- gest scoring run by a Boilermaker in a Big Ten game since Mike Pruitt's 94-yard effort against Iowa in 1974. The Purdue pep band helped spur on a lively group of Boilermaker fans in attendance in the announced crowd of 40,079. Boilermaker legend Leroy Keyes, watching and listening as the Hoosiers drove toward the winning touchdown, also lost a heart- breaking game at IU in his junior year of 1967 in his only appear- ance in Memorial Stadium. Saturday was the only time in the last 50 years (at least) of the series that the Hoosiers have rallied from a 10-point deficit to win the Bucket.
