Highlights: Tolbert has spent the past six years working with head coach Jim Harbaugh, the past four seasons as the as- sistant strength and conditioning coach with the San Fran- cisco 49ers (2011-14) and two seasons at Stanford (2009-10) … He was the as- sistant strength and conditioning coach for the Cardinal in 2009 before being promoted to head strength and con- ditioning coach for the 2010 season … This is his second stop at Michigan — he previously worked as an assistant strength coach under Lloyd Carr and Mike Gittleson from 2001-07, focusing on speed training … Michigan won two Big Ten championships and went 64-24 in those seasons, and had eight NFL first-round picks and 11 All-Americans … Helped lead the Cardinal to a 12-1 season and No. 4 national finish in 2010 … Was part of a 49ers organization that went to the NFC title game three times and the Super Bowl once.
