New Contingency Sponsorships Raise Payouts For A Variety Of SCORE Classes Several new contingency sponsors have announced their involvement with SCORE for the 2015 racing season, increasing the sponsorship value for SCORE racers to over a quarter-million dollars in combined support. “The increasing involvement with SCORE’s contingency program not only provides increased exposure for many companies and manufacturers, but it also provides a continuous effort on the part of the desert racing community to help off-road racers achieve their goals in this sport,” says Jim Ryan, SCORE Marketing Manager. BFGoodrich has also increased its contingency sponsorship program for the 2015 season by offering big cash prizes to the first place finishers in a variety of SCORE Classes including Unlimited Trophy Truck ($1000), Class 1 ($700), and 18 other Pro and Sportsman classes with dollar amounts ranging from $300 to $600. In addition to running a proven Baja tire and spares the entire race, participants must also run the company’s 24-inch BFG decal on both sides of the vehicle. Driveline specialist, Rancho Driveline Engineering, has also joined the SCORE contingency program. As RDE is well versed in how much punishment transmissions endure, they will provide $500 towards labor for repairs to first place class winners in six classes. Additional Contingency partnership with Robby Gordon Wheels, will provide one set of the company’s durable race wheels to first place finishers in several classes, including Unlimited Trophy Trucks, Class 1, Class 1/2-1600, Pro and Sportsman UTV classes and others, with a minimum of 10 entries per class. Another new cash contingency sponsor for 2015 is Toyo Tires, who is putting up $6000 that will be spread across the top three Unlimited Trophy Truck finishers, and $2750 in cash prizes spread across the top three finishers in Class 1. For more information on applying for any participating manufacturer’s contingency program, visit the www.score-international.com website, or contact the manufacturers on the current SCORE Contingency Sponsorship Listing.
