THE SCORE 2015 SEASON IN REVIEW A s we prepare for the 2016 season it's important to recognize the great achievements of all the competitors this past season, especially the class championships that were won by the few that overcame all the challenges that SCORE International racing provided, and who fought to the top spots to earn their 2015 Season Championships. For most of the 2015 champions, this season was one of the most competitive in recent history, making each race more exciting to follow for fans and race teams. In the SCORE Trophy Truck division, Galindo Motorsport's Steven Eugenio came off of a fantastic 2014 championship season and was favored by fans to gain a repeat championship. But right at the beginning of the 2015 racing season, it was evident that tight competition from veteran racers such as Tavo Vildosola, Rob MacCachren, and three of the RPM Off-Road team drivers including Clyde Stacey, Eduardo Laguna, and Apdaly Lopez, made winning each race extremely difficult. In the end, the 2015 SCORE Rookie Of The Year Carlos "Apdaly" Lopez, stunned the racing community by winning the SCORE Trophy Truck championship, making it the first time a Mexican national has won a championship in this division. Lopez's fast pace and consistent top finishes in the number 5 RPM Off-Road Trophy Truck earned him enough points to make 2015 his year. He began the season by taking a third place finish at the 29th Bud Light SCORE San BY SCORE JOURNAL STAFF PHOTOS: GETSOMEPHOTO SCORE 2015 SEASON REVIEW 020 SCORE JOURNAL
