on the peaceful
Northeast side of
Mexico's majestic
Baja California
Peninsula, and the
shimmering Sea of Cortez, rests
the quaint fishing village called
San Felipe. For three decades,
the SCORE San Felipe 250 has
brought the largest economic
impact of any single event
held annually in this lightly-
populated portion of the region.
This year will be the 30th
anniversary of the SCORE San
Felipe 250, held February 23-
28th, and will surely to add
much more to the colorful
history of one of the three
historic SCORE Baja races
that has help to establish
SCORE as the world's foremost
desert racing organization.

The SCORE San Felipe 250
has had many of SCORE's
brightest stars race and win this
event, including racing legends
such as Ivan Stewart, Walker
Evans, Roger Mears, Rod Hall,
Larry Ragland, Brian Collins,
Dan Smith, Curt LeDuc, Danny
Hamel, Johnny Campbell,
Juan Carlos Ibarra, and Steve
Hengeveld, who are all are part
foundation of this rustic race.
