{ IN DEVELOPMENT } Home on the Banks Enjoying the good life at River Rock Estates When it comes to the Upper Valley (and for us Idaho Falls town- ies, that means anything north of Rigby), residential design seems to have a special character that is consistent with—and complementary to—the beauty of the area’s natural surroundings. Rexburg alone is home to many such developments. One of the latest and greatest is River Rock Estates, a beautiful new neighborhood perched near the banks of the Henry’s Fork. Located just a couple of miles from the Rexburg city center, this development in rural Madison County features large 1- to 2.11- acre lots—including animal rights. (One large animal per 1 ⁄2 acre is allowed. There are also designated equestrian trails for your enjoy- ment. One of the greatest features of River Rock Estates is its 20-plus acres of common area which features multiple park areas, paths and equestrian trails that surround the development. Here you’ll also find a number of flowing creeks and a 3.65-acre pond area. Where else can you have all this right in your backyard? Other noteworthy amenities and services include pressurized irri- gation, natural gas, cable, electrical and phone. The development also has the added benefit of protective cove- nants to help insure that property owners’ investments will maintain their value. You can live in the country, but have access to schools, stores, din- ing, entertainment and the freeway just a few miles away. In all, River Rock Estates consists of 48 lots, each unique in its design, size and features. Lots in the lower southwestern corner are treed and all with great views of the valley. A number of special lot prices are available this spring, so be sure to check out River Rock’s web page at riverrock- estates.net. 32 | EAST IDAHO HOME & GARDEN 2010
