W W W . C A F C O N N E C T I O N . C A / P E T A W A W A P R O G R A M M I N G Coffee Chat is a bi-weekly program. We have an average of 15 people every two weeks and it is a brilliant pro- gram format for volunteers. It provides the community aspect that so many are looking for, it is a way to show our apprecia on through gi s (coffee), quality me, words of affirma on, a high five or pat on the shoulder and acts of service (preparing the room, coffee, treats). Our newsle er comes every two months and highlights volunteers, the Youth Volunteer Program, volunteer opportuni es and upcoming event as well as links to further reading. It is another great way of communica ng with our volunteers and also showing apprecia on. The newsle er is gaining a en on throughout our volunteer community and we are looking to give it more popularity by displaying a printed version at our loca ons. T H A N K Y O U We had a visit by Big Brothers Big Sisters in the fall and it was great partnering with an agency that en rely relies on volunteers. We have been partnering with PSP on youth programming and with the annual Volunteer Apprecia on Event.
