Left Tackle 1. Kevin
Pamphile 64 6-5, 300, Jr. Pamphile got his second straight start at left tackle, because of Kitchens' knee injury. Kitchens could be back this week, but will be a backup to Pamphile and Trevor Foy. Danny Hope says Pamphile still needs to be more consistent with his technique.
2. Justin Kitchens 51 6-4, 294, Jr.
Wide Receiver 1. Dolapo Macarthy 16
Left Guard 1. Peters Drey 67
6-6, 302, Sr. (5) Drey's fought through most of the season after recovering from a back injury that cost him the second half of last year. Davis, who was a star of the spring, isn't playing much now in the fall.
2. Cody Davis 59 6-5, 286, Jr.
Wide Receiver
6-5, 220, R-Fr. 13 rec., 117 yards* Macarthy had a career day, with six catches for 43 yards. He looks like he has the potential to be a very good receiver for the Boilermakers. Ross played in the first half, but left in the sec- ond due to his toe injury. It's question- able whether he'll play at Minnesota. 2. O.J. Ross 4 5-10, 188, Jr.
Quarterback 1. Caleb TerBush 19
1. Rick Schmeig 76
6-3, 305, Sr. (5) Purdue's offen- sive line, led by Schmeig, didn't allow a sack against Ohio State and the Boilers generated more than 100 yards rushing. It was the line's best game of the season.
2. Robert Kugler 57 6-3, 280, R-Fr.
1. Antavian Edison 13 5-11, 175, Sr. 33 rec., 381 yards, 5 TDs* 11 rush, 25 yards* Edison had a very quiet day, with only two catches for 10 yards, with one yard rushing on two carries, on first- and second-and-goal before Caleb TerBush's end-zone interception.
2. Danny Anthrop 33 6-0, 180, Fr.
Running Back
6-5, 225, Sr. (5) 93-of-151 for 946 yards, 10 TDs / 7 int.* 40 rush, 49 yards, 2 TDs* TerBush had one of his best games of the season, with 230 yards passing and two touchdowns. The interception in the end zone, following a 10-plus-minute drive, was frustrating, because Purdue needed to come away with points. 2. Robert Marve 9, 6-1, 212, Sr. (6) — OR — Rob Henry 15, 6-2, 200, Jr.
Tight End
Right Guard 1. Robert Kugler 57
Right Tackle 1. Trevor Foy 78
6-3, 280, R-Fr. Hope said Kugler, making his first start of his career, was Purdue's high- est-grading offensive lineman. He seemed to solidify right guard, which had been a ques- tion with Smith's up-and-down performances.
2. Devin Smith 71 6-7, 320, Jr.
1. Gabe Holmes 86 6-5, 247, Jr. 13 rec., 85 yards, 1 TD* Holmes isn't giving Purdue much in the passing game, going without a catch vs. Ohio State. He was targeted a couple times, including on first down in over- time, but dropped the potential catch. Wright had two receptions for 13 yards.
2. Crosby Wright 82 6-3, 248, Sr. (5)
1. Akeem Shavers 24 5-11, 203, Sr. 84 rush, 354 yards, 3 TDs* 4 rec., 58 yards* Purdue's top four backs – Shavers, Hunt, Ralph Bolden and Brandon Cottom – each got at least five carries, and none more than nine. Bolden's 35 yards were the most, com- ing in only his second game of the season.
2. Akeem Hunt 11 5-9, 184, So.
6-7, 300, Jr. Foy was only average against the Buckeyes, struggling some in pass protection. If Kitchens returns against Minnesota on Saturday, it could help to give Foy a rest for a series or two.
2. Justin Kitchens 51 6-4, 294, Jr.
Wide Receiver 1. Gary Bush 6
6-0, 185, Jr. 23 rec., 225 yards, 5 TDs* Bush had only a couple catches, but one was big, a 31-yard catch-and-run for a touchdown in the third quarter, giving the Boilers the lead again a possession after they had lost it. Torwudzo played about five snaps, including the fourth-and-five in overtime. 2. Charles Torwudzo 17 6-4, 223, So.
