Depth Charts Boilermaker Offense Left Tackle 1. Kevin Pamphile 64 6-5, 300, Jr. Purdue's offensive line very likely had its best game of the season, including on the left side where Pamphile's had an up-and-down year, to say the least. But Robert Marve wasn't sacked, and was touched only a handful of times, at most. 2. Justin Kitchens 51 6-4, 294, Jr. Wide Receiver 1. O.J. Ross 4 Left Guard 1. Peters Drey 67 Center 6-6, 302, Sr. (5) Drey has been a completely different player in the last couple weeks, after he struggled so badly due to the lingering effects of his back injury last season. But now, he's playing well, looking much quicker and more athletic. 2. Cody Davis 59 6-5, 286, Jr. Wide Receiver 5-10, 188, Jr. 51 rec., 425 yards, 2 TDs* Ross had two receptions, including one of the best determination plays of the season. On Purdue's first posses- sion of the second half, he received a swing pass from Robert Marve and managed to stay on his feet, beating a couple of IU defenders, for 19 yards for the TD. 2. Dolapo Macarthy 16 6-5, 220, R-Fr. 1. Rick Schmeig 76 6-3, 305, Sr. (5) Right Guard 1. Robert Kugler 57 Schmeig appears to be try- ing to end his career in a good way, playing some of his best football. The cen- ter has made quite a few solid pulling blocks in recent games. Kugler is likely to take over at center in a year. 2. Robert Kugler 57 6-3, 280, R-Fr. 1. Antavian Edison 13 5-11, 175, Sr. 57 rec., 625 yards, 8 TDs* 12 rush, 29 yards* Edison finished the season as Purdue's leader in receptions, yardage and touchdowns. He scored the Boilermakers' second touchdown of the IU game when he received a quick slant over the middle. Henry hasn't played much receiver in the last couple weeks. 2. Rob Henry 15 6-2, 200, Jr. Quarterback 1. Robert Marve 9 6-1, 212, Sr. (6) 145-of-219 for 1,522 yards, 13 TDs / 3 int.* Marve has been incredible. It's unfortunate his career soon will come to an end. His only bad play of the game against IU — his interception — turned into a great one, when he raced 70 yards to tackle Greg Heban before he scored. Marve had 348 yards and four TDs. 2. Rob Henry 15, 6-2, 200, Jr. — OR — Caleb TerBush 19, 6-5, 225, Sr. (5) Running Back Right Tackle 6-3, 280, R-Fr. Kugler has been a pleasant surprise during the second half of the season, prob- ably playing a year sooner than many would have expected. Smith played early this season, but will need to work on his footwork during the off- season if he wants to find a spot again. 2. Devin Smith 71 6-7, 320, Jr. Tight End 1. Crosby Wright 82 6-3, 248, Sr. (5) 22 rec., 283 yards* Wright had perhaps his best game of his career, with three receptions for 81 yards, including a 58-yarder over the middle in which he nearly scored, being dragged down at literally the very last moment. Gabe Holmes has missed consecutive games with a rib injury. 2. Justin Sinz 84 6-4, 251, So. 1. Akeem Shavers 24 5-11, 203, Sr. 167 rush, 778 yards, 6 TDs* 14 rec., 316 yards, 1 TD* Shavers was spectacular against the Hoosiers with 225 yards of total offense and three touchdowns. Shouldn't he have been getting more touches all season? He had 27 carries vs. the Hoosiers. He had only two receptions, but for 99 yards and two TDs. Bolden didn't play, due to a hamstring injury. 2. Ralph Bolden 23 5-9, 200, Sr. (5) Sam McCartney 43 6-4, 215, R-Fr. — OR — Paul Griggs 37 6-1, 200, Fr. Punter Cody Webster 42 6-1, 210, Jr. 2. Justin Kitchens 51 6-4, 294, Jr. Kitchens gives Purdue ath- leticism at right tackle, and appears to be holding up in pass protection recently. Foy was playing early in the year, and seemingly doing OK, but hasn't appeared much at all in recent weeks. 2. Trevor Foy 78 6-7, 300, Jr. Wide Receiver 1. Gary Bush 6 6-0, 185, Jr. 41 rec., 360 yards, 7 TDs* Bush has had a good ability to find the end zone this season, with seven touchdowns. He had one against the Hoosiers, when he took a short pass to the right, then outran a couple defenders to the end zone. 2. Charles Torwudzo 17 6-4, 223, So. Purdue Special Teams Kicker Kick Return Akeem Hunt 11 5-9, 184, So. 2. Raheem Mostert 8 5-11, 180, So.
