® 14 END OF YEAR REPORT 2024 Approved for distribution outside of the LoRa Alliance ® ® MARKETING COMMITTEE: ACCELERATING GLOBAL LoRaWAN ® ADOPTION & AWARENESS OF MEMBER PRODUCTS AND SERVICES In 2024, the LoRa Alliance ® Marketing Committee sharpened its focus on three key vertical markets—utilities, cities & build- ings, and industry & manufacturing—to accelerate LoRaWAN ® awareness and adoption worldwide. Through targeted initia- tives, we showcased LoRaWAN's ability to drive innovation, ef- ficiency, sustainability, and safety across these critical sectors. By highlighting compelling use cases and real-world implemen- tations, we empowered stakeholders and end users to adopt LoRaWAN for transformative IoT solutions, from improving resource efficiency in water and energy utilities to enhancing public safety and sustainability in urban environments and streamlining complex industrial IoT deployments. A central priority this year was delivering continuous technical education to developers, engineers, device makers, and sys- tem integrators, ensuring that they remained at the forefront of LoRaWAN's technological advancements. We diligently updat- ed stakeholders with each newly released LoRaWAN specifica- tion and technical recommendation. Through our technical and certification webinars, we offered deep dives into LoRaWAN technology, while developing reports and explainer infographics that simplified complex concepts into accessible guidance. Our commitment to advancing market-specific engagement led to closer connections with decision-makers in utilities, urban planning, building management, and the industrial sector. We also strengthened our ecosystem by fostering stra- tegic partnerships that align with the Alliance's mission of driving global IoT adoption. Enhanced public relations efforts—supported by an increased number of press releases, contributed articles and thought leadership content—expanded our audience reach, while active participation at major industry events and trade shows ensured direct engagement with key decision-makers. Our multi-channel digital strategy, including monthly LinkedIn newsletters and expanded website capabilities, inspire confidence and facilitate partnerships among our members and the broader IoT ecosystem. Finally, our increased global presence at international confer- ences and industry forums allowed the LoRa Alliance to dis- seminate valuable LoRaWAN knowledge, foster collaborative relationships, and add several new members. These events served as vital platforms for education and partnership, rein- forcing the Alliance's role as a key driver in the IoT ecosystem, particularly in the realms of smart cities, utilities, and buildings. 2024 Visibility Highlights • Digital & Social Reach: In 2024, we capitalized on our established digital footprint to educate and engage stake- holders.
