The LoRa Alliance
®
stand at ENLIT Europe included solutions
and devices for water metering, gas metering, smart energy,
and smart utilities to showcase wireless IoT connectivity for
digitizing utilities. LoRa Alliance was joined in its booth by
member companies Actility, Alliot Technologies, Netmore,
ResIOT, TEKTELIC, and Semtech. Additionally, a device wall
with over 20 LoRaWAN Certified
CM
end devices plus indoor,
outdoor, and industrial gateways for LoRaWAN
®
, displayed the
range of use cases enabled by LoRaWAN for profitable and
efficient utilities.
The advancements and advantages of the LoRaWAN standard
for utilities were highlighted through technical demonstrations,
including Relay, FUOTA, and DLMS/COSEM for enhancing
smart meter connectivity, remote updates, and energy
management by member company Actility; and dual
connectivity solutions for LoRaWAN and Wireless M-Bus
by member company Semtech.
