SCORE JOURNAL 70 NOTICIAS DE BAJA From Ensenada, the road inland leads to a completely different landscape. The Valle de Guadalupe is less than an hour from the Pacific, but it feels like another world. The ocean gives way to vineyards, rolling hills, olive trees, mountain views, and open roads. Wineries, restaurants, boutique hotels, and small producers have created a destination where the landscape is just as important as what is served at the table. But the valley is not only about sitting down and enjoying a glass of wine. There are trails to explore, roads to discover, and plenty of ways to experience the outdoors. And this September, running becomes another way to experience the valley. From September 23 to 25, the Trail & Wine Run brings runners into the landscape, combining movement, trails, vineyards, and the wine culture that has made the region famous. For racers, it may seem like a very different kind of competition. But there is something familiar about it. Reading the terrain. Finding your rhythm. Pushing yourself forward and enjoying the landscape along the way. You don't always need an engine to experience Baja. Sometimes, all you need is a pair of running shoes. FROM TRAILS TO VINEYARDS ONE TERRAIN. MANY WAYS TO EXPLORE IT. That is what makes Baja California different. The same peninsula that challenges racers with rocks, sand, mountains, and desert also offers quiet beaches, coastal trails, vineyards, fishing towns, great food, and wide-open spaces. One day can be about speed. The next can be about a surfboard. Then a trail. Then a long lunch overlooking the vineyards. Then tacos and beer in Ensenada. There is no single way to experience Baja. For the racer, it is about the challenge. For the adventurer, it is about finding the next trail. For the runner, it is about discovering the landscape one mile at a time. For the food lover, it is about the Pacific on a plate. For the traveler, it is simply about taking the next road and seeing where it leads.
