Total Giving in 2017 Reached an
All-Time High of $410 Billion
There's never been a better time for
nonprofit organizations in terms of
charitable giving.
For the fourth year in a row, giving reached record levels.
Total giving rose 5.2% (in current dollars) during 2017—
ringing in a new all-time high of $410 billion. In the past
decade, giving increased by nearly $100 billion.
