For years The Doctor's Orders have put on an event and promoters and thousands of dedicated fans have celebrated the life and work of the incredible James "J-Dilla" Yancey. In his short 32 years, Jay-Dee or J-Dilla, created a new sound of hip hop, the 'Dilla', sound and was an inspiration for all music lovers including DJs, musicians and artists around the world. This night is always a sell out event, the minimum donation is £6 and all proceeds from the night are donated to the J-Dilla Foundation & Lupus UK. Hailing from Detroit, J Dilla along with his group Slum Village, produced classics such as 'Fall In Love' and 'Let's'. DJs on the night will include Phat Kat, Shortee Blitz, Mr Thing and many more, and the Spin Doctor himself will be treating us to a special Dilla AV set.
