Rink Specialists: Making Ice Possible Anywhere , Following in the footsteps of the NHL, Rink Specialists proved once again that they can bring the outdoor ice hockey element to a stadium near you. Headlining the RS trio of outdoor events this past winter was the Hockeytown Winter Festival in Detroit at Comerica Park. The outdoor ice events lasted 18 days and hosted every level of recreational, junior and college hockey. Meanwhile, the RS crew returned to Fenway Park to bring the city of Boston the popular Frozen Fenway III project. The event hosted multiple doubleheader NCAA weekends, several open skating sessions, USA Hockey clinics and a Wounded Warriors day. To fulfill the trio, RS partnered with the Rochester Americans and the Rochester Red Wings to host the Frozen Frontier project in Rochester, N.Y., at Frontier Field.
