Holley EFI With Dominator System Holley’s Dominator system features many benefits for the off-road racer and enthusiast who’s vehicle is equipped with a powerful LS-platform engine. The Dominator is features an ignition plug and play that is compatible with most LS-based engines. It also has an integrated electronic transmission control, which allows it to operate GM’s 4L60E and 4L80E transmissions. The Holley Dominator also an integrated drive-by-wire throttle body control, that can operate two drive-by-wire throttle bodies, and features an integrated dual-channel wide band oxygen sensor control for monitoring both engine banks (NTK or Bosch sensors). There’s an extensive amount of inputs and outputs for limitless combinations of options, as well as allowing the unit to be used as a complete data acquisition system. Twelve sequentially driven 8:2 peak and hold injector drivers are capable of driving up to 24 low or high impedance injectors as a standard feature, with the ability to provide multiple staged injector strategies. But don’t forget that the fuel delivery system is one major components of an off-road engine that also takes a beating. That’s where the engineers at Aeromotive came up with The Dual Phantom line of pumps, designed to take the demands of high-power, off-road competition, and keep on working. The Dual Phantom comes loaded with two 340 lph pumps, an additional set of electrical bulkheads, and a larger capacity foam and bladder, all without taking up any extra space. The dual pump system supports the power necessary to compete in the grueling off-road environment. Separate electrical bulkheads allow for an on-demand fuel system, which reduces the amount of returned fuel and lowers fuel tank temperatures. This in turn minimizes the concern of vapor lock and cavitation. The larger capacity foam and bladder combat fuel slosh while retaining enough to feed the dual pumps. If an application calls for EFI, Aeromotive’s Phantom Fuel System gives racing teams the option of putting a high performance fuel pump inside virtually any fuel tank, including an OE factory tank.
