PUBLISHER'S NOTE The 47th running of the infamous Bud Light Baja 500 is once again being prepared and as you can imaging, the SCORE staff is very busy making sure this event will be another memorable race event for all those involved. A special twist has been added to this new course which will now head north from the Ensenada start point and through the Ojos Negros area to new course route that will be new to many racers as it traverses the grueling La Rumorosa grade as it nearly touches the U.S. border west of Mexicali. While race officials are working hard to modify some of the originally announced course due to the unusually high amount of water in parts of the Laguna Salada, many racers are certain to enjoy the extended time limit of 20 hours to become an official finisher in this year's marathon odyssey.
