him in some ways as a player with
similar size and skill set. And while
it's unfair to call him "the next Trey
Burke," Simpson has many of the
same qualities, Michigan head coach
John Beilein acknowledged recently
— especially the work ethic.
Simpson averaged 27.2 points, 6.1 assists and 3.8 steals per game en route to earning Ohio's
Mr. Basketball and Gatorade Player of the Year accolades.
