DJ Pierre delivers another stomping acid trip. Coming through from his ACID88 project, the lord of acid brings forth a juicy collection of acid bleeps and wonks. Initially released on vinyl in April, a digital version has also been made available now. He masterfully travels across the weird and wonderful sound of acid house with faultless precision. DJ Pierre selects 12 mad tunes from acid heavyweights. Featuring tracks from Hardfloor, Thomas P Heckmann, Posthuman, Bloody Mary, Luke Vibert - this is a serious acid trip that you won't want to end. The Chicago producer and DJ is a pioneer of the acid sound who since the 80s hasn't strayed from his style. He's worked as himself and also forms one half of the Phuture. He's still extremely active on the scene both stateside and here in Europe. NEW RELEASES The London club's schedule through the end of 2018 sees Seth Troxler, Amelie Lens, Hot Since 82 and many more take to the stage. Sona's 'Feeling You' gets the house treatment from DJ Pioneer. Kicking things off is an Exhale Party hosted by Amelie Lens on October 16th, followed by a performance from house icon Craig Richards on October the 13th. On October the 20th Joy Orbison, Dax J, Sonja Moonear, Jay Clarke and several others will come together to celebrate 19 years of Fabric. Other highlights include a boundary pushing live set with KiNk on November the 10th, back to back sets with Craig Richards for his ongoing Collison series with Nicolas Lutz on September 1st as well as a set with Seth Troxler on December 1st. His thick bass drum and nacht for seemlessly adding the perfect samples and glitches has propelled his tunes onto the best labels out there, including Truesoul, Hot Creations, Relief & Defected. He can now add Carl Cox's & Jon Rundell's Intec to that list as he's just dropped the sick Dub Trap. Featuring two tracks, Charles gets down to business with a heavy hitting tech track, 'Get Together'. He's crafted a punchy bass drum and linked over a psychedelic vocal and bleeps with a bellowing bassline. He follows up with the release's title-track 'Dub Trap'. In everything we've come to expect and love from him, it's a killer tech house with a techno influence. A jacking groove, it's one of those that's impossible not to vibe to.
