37TH-ANNUAL MOLLENKOPF/KEYES CLASSIC
This is a reminder that the 37th-Annual Mollenkopf/Keyes Classic
is set for Friday, Feb. 15, 2013.
• Once again, the golf tournament and tailgate will be held at
the Quail West Golf and Country Club in beautiful Naples, Fla.
• The cost for golf and tailgate is $260 per person, while the
tailgate-only price is $50. The 18-hole "Best Ball Scramble"
will get under way at 12:30 p.m., with the tailgate and
accompanying program to start around 6 p.m.
• Both events are open to all Boilermaker fans, with priority
given to current John Purdue Club members.
• Athletics Director Morgan Burke, new head football coach
Darrell Hazell and former Boilermaker Rob Ninkovich will be in
attendance.

The Groben Society Endowed Scholarship Luncheon will be held
Jan. 27, 2012, at 1 p.m. on Cardinal Court in Mackey Arena.

TRACK AND FIELD UPDATE
Last July, Lonnie Greene was named the head coach
of the Purdue men's and women's track and field
and cross country teams. Coach Greene came to
Purdue from the University of Arkansas, where
the Razorbacks placed in the top 25 at both the
NCAA Women's Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field
Championships in five of the last six seasons with the
help of Greene's direction.

As we prepare to host the Big Ten Championships in 2014, we are
endeavoring to re-sod the infield of the Rankin Track and Field
Facility, replace the track and field sheds with a new up-to-date
multipurpose building, place new concrete in the entryway and
around the outer perimeter of the track and make significant
improvements to the Lambert Indoor Track.

Coach Greene and his team are looking to take the Boilermaker
track and field and cross country programs to the top of the
Big Ten Conference and ultimately a top 10 finish at the NCAA
Championships. Part of this goal is having the necessary equipment
to train our student-athletes.
