It took three hours and 40 people to distribute the T-shirts to the
seats in Mackey Arena. The promotion, which was only devised a
week before the game, and the 9 p.m. start helped fuel the crowd.
D.J. Byrd has an animated discussion with basketball official Gene
Steratore before the Ohio State game. The two may have been talking
about Purdue's bout with Michigan State days earlier, which got physical
at the end.
