Since the first screening of Back to the Future
II in 1986 we all dreamt about the cool futuristic
gadgets that Mcfly discovered traveling to
2015. Among them the Hover Board, the Food
Rehydrater and the Personal Video Goggles.
Last but not least Nike Air Mag with power laces,
which will be available Wednesday October 21,
2015 at 4.29pm, the precise date and time Marty
landed in the future.
A pre version of the shoes have already been on
sale in 2011, but without any power laces and Nike
only put up 1500 pairs on sale on Ebay to raise
money for The Michael J. Fox Foundation for
Parkinson's Disease Research. They were 5000
Euros.
Nike designer Tinker Hatfield and creator of the
shoes announced at the New Orleans Flight Lab
Space, that 2015 will be the year of the Air Mag
with its re edition. Let's just hope that this edition
will be more affordable and accessible to more
people. Still this shows us that the 2015 Marty
Mcfly world is not far away.
