PROMOTION Another veteran fans can look forward to seeing is Butorac, who will enter his third season with the Lobsters and fourth overall, having played in Sacramento in 2008. The recently married Butorac now lives in the Boston area with his wife and has also enjoyed a terrific year on the court since the end of last season. The Rochester, Minnesota native earned a win at the Sao Paulo Open in February with new partner Bruno Soares and is currently the 28th-ranked doubles player in the world. As a team, he and the Brazilian Soares are ranked No. 5. Schultz has worked with Butorac both during the season and in the offseason and sees a player who is constantly sharpening his skills. "I think the thing that's interesting watching him is he's constantly trying to get better," Schultz said. "He's added a big kick serve out to the deuce side, added a little more topspin on his backhand, things like that. He seems to be getting better. "One of the great things about Eric is he has a wonderful intuitive sense about how to play his opponents, how to set up a match to take advantage of his opponents' weaknesses. He's as excited to play tennis as he's ever been. Last year was his best year ever on the tour and he's still looking to get better and should be even better." As should the Lobsters, who are coming off consecutive trips to the postseason and are looking to take it a step further and win a WTT title. "I think the whole (organization) is one step further along the road," Schultz said. "I'm looking forward to it."
