From Saturday to Tuesday, there will be Meet Ups of all kinds in this venue ranging from festival programming to international fi lmmakers. Then, during the Music Conference, head to the Austin Suite in the Austin Convention Center for more music- based Meet Ups. ROUND TABLE SESSIONS Austin Convention Center, Room 13AB New to the Film Conference for 2016, Round Table Sessions bring together industry experts and SXSW attendees for informal and enlightening discussions. Including topics such as Production, Sales and Acquisition and Artist Development, these sessions are great ways to pick the brain of industry experts. SOLO DUAL PANELS Austin Convention Center, Driskill Hotel, Hyatt Regency, JW Marriott, Hilton Austin Downtown, Four Seasons, and Westin Solo / Dual / Panel sessions are the bread and butter of the SXSW Film Conference. These daily sessions cover a vast array of topics in the art, business and industry of fi lm and media, as well as many Convergence Tracks. FILM CONFERENCE FORMATS Each Film Conference Session adheres to a speciic format. HOW TO ATTEND FILM SESSIONS Whether you're attending the SXSW Film Conference to sharpen your fi lmmaking skills or to boost your professional network, accessing sessions is simple. BADGES: You must have a 2016 SXSW badge to attend sessions. Film, Gold, and Platinum badges have access to all Film Conference sessions and most Convergence programming. Music and Interactive badges have access to select Film sessions through Convergence programming. VENUES: For 2016, Film Conference sessions take place in downtown Austin at the Austin Convention Center, InterContinental SFA, Four Seasons Hotel, Westin Hotel, and JW Marriott Hotel to name a few. LINE PROCEDURES: Seating is on a fi rst come, fi rst- served basis, except for Mentor and Round Table Sessions which require advance sign up.
