Taylor Manuel has made in impression in her first season, proving to be one of the most efficient offensive weapons in the Big Ten. She led the league in shooting (.673) through mid-December. MaChelle Joseph oozed intensity as an All-America player at Purdue and not much has changed during her tenure as a college coach. Her Georgia Tech team couldn't overcome Purdue's strong inside game in a 12-point loss to her alma mater on Nov. 28. Courtney Moses and April Wilson battle for a loose ball in the Georgia Tech game. Purdue has been scrappy, and Wilson has been steady despite it being her rookie season. Terry Kix, the director basketball operations, is a fighter, seemingly always the first off the bench to get in the face of an official. She's picked up a technical or two thoroughout her career.
