Joining CAEM brings unity to members across the country and enhances network opportunities within the support serv- ices industry, nationally. Over the past few years, the asso- ciation has partnered with other organi- zations on educational events. It con- tinues to link with a variety of similar organizations with an objective to strengthen the professional status within the industry. CAEM membership continues to grow and we are pleased to announce that Mark Andrews and Jonny Hinz have joined our Board of Directors, effective September 2008. Andrews and Hinz bring a wealth of experience and knowledge within the industry and will represent CAEM in the following positions: • Andrews – director of member- ship role. Andrews will screen all mem- bership applications, and is responsible for recording and maintaining the membership database. He will send all appropriate membership information to members and work with other CAEM directors on initiatives to en- hance and retain membership. • Hinz – director of education role. Mark Andrews began his career with Bee-Clean in 1991 and, over the years, has been instrumental in supporting the company's growth and efforts to de- velop customized market specific serv- ice strategies, along with the technolo- gies and processes needed to support them. In his current position, based in Edmonton, he leads a branch network of eight regional offices overseeing cli- ent services, major project delivery and business development in both Alberta and British Columbia. Andrews credits much of his success to the broad range of skills he acquired while delivering cleaning services to a diverse group of clients, including: • Health care. • Universities, schools and colleges. • Financial institutions. • Commercial real estate. • Retail and shopping centres. • Military and law enforcement. • Entertainment venues and sports complexes. • Heavy industry. • Public transportation systems.
