Throughout his 14 years at ProTeam, Mackey has been a key contributor to the company's growth and success. He is responsible for implement- ing and expanding all facets of operations, from supply chain management and manufacturing to warehousing and information technology. "In this new role, Mackey will be instrumental in outlining and driving the long-term strategy and direction of the business," said ProTeam President, Matt Wood. Mackey brings a total of 19 years experience in the manufac- turing operations management and product development in sec- tors that include recreational wa- tercraft, semi-conductors and welding supplies. Unisource Canada Inc., Supply Di- vision of Southwestern Ontario, held a Cruise in the Toronto Harbour to recognize customers who participated in the company's 'Top 40 Cruiser' con- test held during the first six months of 2008. Vendors who participated included 3M, Berry Plastics, CKF, Cascades, Georgia-Pacific, Kimberly Clark, Kruger Products, Papersource, Polar Plastic and Ronco. According to a Unisource spokes- UNISOURCE CANADA HOLDS TOP 40 CRUISER CONTEST person, "the weather was perfect and the scenery was amazing." "Thankfully, the cruise was held on one of the few Saturdays this summer when there was no rain in the forecast," the spokesperson said. "Many of our customers had seen Toronto but never from the waterside. They were amazed at the spectacular view the city offered them." Along with the 'Top 40 Cruiser' winners, Unisource was represented by its vice president for S o u t h w e s t e r n Ontario, Steve Costello, along with Regional Sales Manager, Bruce Cameron; Re-Distribution Segment Sales Manager, Doug Anders; and Southwestern Ontario re-distribution sales professionals. Boyd Paper of Sarnia, Ont.; Cardi- nal Maintenance, Milton, Ont.; and Good-N-Klean Products from Downsview, Ont., were the top three prize winners. Each received a 'Geta- way Package' at the Westin Harbour Castle Hotel and a $500 American Ex- press Gift Card. Unisource would like to thank all of the customers and vendors for their participation. The company is looking forward to another Southwestern On- tario function in 2009. Boyd Paper of Sarnia, Ont. was one of the top three winners.
