DISC GOLF & HERSHEY TRACK MEET Disc Golf Have you played disc golf yet at Freeman Park? Disc golf is easy and fun to play. The rules are similar to its older sibling, tradi- tional (ball) golf. Disc golf is played like golf, using a flying disc that looks like a Frisbee. The disc is thrown from a tee and aimed at a basket. You can get official rules at the PDGA web site or just go to Freeman Park and check out our great course and try your skill and tossing a disc. Call 612-8480 for more information. Hershey Track Meet Date: Saturday, June 5, 2010 Registration: 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Event Time: 10 a.m. Location: Ravston Stadium at IF High School This meet is sponsored by Hershey’s Chocolate Company and the National Recreation & Parks Association. All boys and girls ages nine to 14 (as of Dec. 31, 2009) are eligible to participate in Hershey’s Track & Field Program.
