GUESTLIST RECOMMENDS: INJA - BLANK PAGES 46 ISSUE 109 / 2018 Its offical, there is a drum and bass heaven and it opens this month at Fabric. Know for his sick vocals, Inja's ready to drop a mad album. Inja has been in the game for time. Masterfully MCing over many of the best selectors all over. His infectious vocals and jabby delivery has made him a firm favourite on the circuit. It's been a long time coming, he's been featured heavily on some of the biggest tunes such as 'Sky' with Coda and 'Blow Them Away' with Serum. Though at the end of the month he's finally gonna drop his own album, Blank Pages. Coming on Hospital, it features tunes produced by Serum, Whiney, Logistics and loads more. He goes on a wild journey across a range of drum & bass styles and even drops in a cheeky garage number. Get the old skool vibes with 'War Games', get low with the bass heavy 'No Gravity' or just skank out with the massive 'Flex'. This one will be one of the biggest albums of the summer! It gets its full release on the 29th of June through Hospital Records. Bottomless fried chicken and cocktails are the order of the day as dnb brunch launch at Fabric on the 30th of June with Deejays Hype, Optical a classics set by Uncle Dugs with 2-Shy and IC3 on hosting duties. Kicking off at noon, you will be seated and served quality free-range fried chicken from the Bird Restuarant and bottomless cocktails to wash it all down. They'll be a chicken wing eating contest, an MC karaoke competition and themed prize draws to help you digest it all, leaving you 100% "satis-fried" once it's all done. DnB Brunch will be hosting this monthly with Fabio, Grooverider and Randall set to play on the 28th July and Doc Scott, Commix, Bailey and LSB frying up some DnB heaven on the 25th of August. ALBUM OF THE MONTH: GRID TAKES IT BACK TO THE OLD SKOOL Grid Recordings drops a heavy collection of it's classics, Money for Old Rope. Pumping, grinding, jungle-infused jump up is what Twisted Individual's Grid Recordings did best. Taking a nod to it's past, the label has dropped a sick album packed with classics tunes. Rolling jump up madness that'll get things heated runs deep on this one. Records come from top names of the time G Dub, Hazard, Zen & loads more. It's the first time these tunes are out digitally, and though they're old they ain't lost their magic. Strap down your speakers as Grid shows off the tunes that designed it's success. Though these tunes are Grid's goldie oldies, the label has relaunched itself and has been hammering out even more sickness. Recent tunes come from hot new talents Damage Report, Leaf & Prestige with forthcoming beats from Coda & Coy. Grid are in it for the long haul.
