Happy Holidays!
The primary goal of the NCAA CHAMPS/Life Skills commitment
to service area is to engage the student-athlete in service to
his or her campus and surrounding communities. Purdue
student-athletes value the importance of giving back to the
community. Through many service projects throughout the
year, Purdue student-athletes show their appreciation by
helping those in the Greater Lafayette area. Here are just a
few of the many organizations our student-athletes were
actively working for during the past year:

JPC MEMBERSHIP EVENTS
Santa Claus visited Mackey Arena prior to the holidays. On Dec. 18,
during the men���s basketball game against Ball State, and Dec. 21
during the women���s basketball game against IUPUI, Santa spent
time in the Wooden Club listening to the Christmas lists of many
John Purdue Club members, young and old. The JPC staff hopes
you have a wonderful holiday season, and we wish you a happy,
healthy and hopeful 2013!
YEAR-END GIVING
As you think about your year-end charitable contributions,
please consider making a gift and becoming a member of the
John Purdue Club: 100 percent of your gift will help provide a
prestigious degree for our 558 Boilermaker student-athletes.
Current members also can give more by increasing their donations
or moving to the next membership level before Jan. 1, 2013.
However, TODAY is the last day for your donations to be received
in order to be counted for 2012 tax purposes.
