The Big Reveal Here are brief notes from Darrell Hazell this week. R Gabe Holmes will miss the season after having surgery on his dislocated left wrist. Holmes, one of Purdue's starting tight ends, was injured during practice on Sept. 10. R  Hazell says Purdue's kickoff coverage needs to improve, after specialist Thomas Meadows has placed only two of his 12 kickoffs into the endzone for a touchback. The Boilers rank last in net kickoff yardage in the Big Ten. R Purdue's rushing game has been sputtering, after picking up only 38 yards on 21 carries against Notre Dame. Hazell says Purdue needs to be "much more physical" when running the football. TWEET OF THE WEEK "Best visit yet!
