A somber tone was pervasive prior to
the Purdue-Wisconsin game as the
Boilermaker faithful mourned the
deaths of associate athletic director and
former men's basketball assistant coach
Tom Reiter and campus shooting victim
Andrew Boldt.
At a national signing day event
for Purdue fans put on by the John
Purdue Club, Ryan Kerrigan gave
an impassioned speech about
how important it is to him to be
part of Purdue football program.
Kerrigan, who just completed his
third season with the Washington
Redskins, is becoming the new face
of Boilermaker football alumni.
