"It was disappointing for my season to come to a really quick end as a se- nior," Moore said. But even in her limited action, Moore still showed the qualities that placed her as one of the top-100 players na- tionally in the 2014 class. ESPN Hoop- gurlz placed her No. 90 overall when she signed with the Boilermakers in the fall. "She's been hurt, but she still brings the same qualities as she does unin- jured," Coach Sharon Versyp said. "The biggest thing with her is her physicali- ty, you just can't match it, especially in the high school game. In college, you're going to match it. But still, I'd take her body against a lot of the bodies we're going to go against. "I think she's pretty athletic for her size, has great jumping ability and can run the floor. And she's got pretty good handles for a kid who is going to be that 4 spot for us." But to get there, Moore needs to get healthy. Moore, whose dad Eric played offensive line at Indiana and for the Super Bowl-winning New York Giants, is planning to spend the next several months rehab- bing her knee, trying to get in as best shape possible for when she arrives at Purdue in June. "Right now, I'm just strengthening it and do- ing rehab, focusing on skill development and the things I need to work on for next year," she said. Getting to Purdue, which has had a little too much experience in rehabbing knee injuries during the last few years, could help in the pro- cess. "Obviously here it's step up, because you're taken care of to another level and have the re- sources," Versyp said. "Not that she doesn't have those, but for injuries in general, we can work with them every single day with our training staff and team physicians and everybody that is in- volved." That should help Moore get back to the player Greenfield Daily Reporter Moore will bring a physical presence to Purdue and add depth to a veteran frontcourt in 2014-15.
