7 25 Issue 76 / 2015 FESTIVALS Glasto Goes all out! The bill for this year's Glastonbury is worth shouting about The biggest festival in the world always pulls out a monster line-up, and this year is no exception – where else would you see Foo Fighters, Kanye West and The Who all headlining? What's really caught our eye this year though is the dance programme. The revamped dance village, Silver Hayes is playing to host to a ton of amazing acts including B.Traits, Ben UFO, Damian Lazarus, DJ EZ, Four Tet, George FitzGerald, Goldie, Hessle Audio, Jamie Jones, JESuS, Monki, Mungo's HiFi, Patrick Topping, Redlight, Sam Binga, Secondcity, Shy FX, Sigma, Skepta, Tourist and Wilkinson. Block9, the alternative dance and performance area, has also stepped it up this year. As well as opening earlier in the day, it'll be home to three incredible installations. Genosys will host Cerrone, Robert Hood Awesome Tapes From Africa and Erol Alkan, NYC Downlow has DJ Pierre, Andy Butler, Horse Meat Disco, and Eats Everything on board, and London Underground features Jah Shaka, Loefah, Youngsta, Fabio, Intalex and Mella Dee. Even without all the other acts and stages, that's a lot of great music! The continent's friendliest festival takes places 3rd – 5th July in Gozo, Malta, and we're hosting our own stage Europe's most intimate island festival, Sunscape is a place to party, free your minds, learn and be inspired. A musical happening infused with creativity, performance and lifestyle activities. A playful exercise in the art of living and being co-creators in our own experience. Sunscape will feature 50 acts, 15 international artists and three international label showcases across four stages across the weekend of 3rd – 5th July. Psychedelic music project Shpongle, Get Physical stalwart Audiofly, Bristol producer Maxxi Soundsystem, Zombie Soundsystem founder Shane Watcha, New York techno artist Elon, LoKee underground artist Eric Volta, South African electronic band Goldfishand, electronic music stars Azimute (live), Livio & Roby, Konrad Black, M.A.N.D.Y, DJ T and many more will perform on the sandy beach of Ramla Bay. Electro-Swing Malta, one of the country's hottest exports who have toured some of the biggest clubs in Europe and bring smiles wherever they go also return for 2015. And of course, Guestlist is in on the action with our very own stage, Jamais Vu. From humble beginnings, hosting one of London's favourite weekly events to Jam on the Sand with Fabio in San Juan, Barcelona, Jamais Vu has a history of great parties. Since our unforgettable New Year's Eve rave, Jamais Vu has cemented itself as a favourite amongst DJs and partygoers. The Jamais Vu vibe isn't like anything you've seen before and at Sunscape you can expect magic from some of the world's best D&B DJs – Bailey, Fabio, Grooverider, Jumpin Jack Frost, LTJ Bukem and Randall. Much more than simply a music festival, Sunscape festival-goers can experience collaborative art installations, various forms of yoga (including surfboard yoga), transformational workshops, massage and much, much more. See you in paradise! Party in Paradise at sunscaPe Festival!
