4 Issue 76 / 2015 GUESTLIST guestlist.net Newsflash Never MiNd The Buzzcocks caNcelled The irreverent music quiz has been axed after 28 series NMTB has been on the air since 1996, with Mark Lamarr, Simon Amstell and Rhod Gilbert all presenting, and Phill Jupitus, Bill Bailey and Noel Fielding captaining teams, but the BBC have decided it's time for "new entertainment formats". Ah well, we'll always have the memories of Preston walking out and Huey Morgan smashing a mug. TeN walls Makes hoMophoBic ouTBursT The Lithuanian producer has now lost major festival slots Following a bizarre rant on his Facebook page in which he compared homosexuality to paedophilia, Creamfields, PITCH, and Sonar have dropped Ten Walls from their line-ups, with all stating that his views go against their policies of inclusion. Ten Walls, aka Marijus Adomaitis, has apologised and said he is now taking a break from music. sol caMpBell ruNNiNg for loNdoN Mayor The former England player wants to take over from Boris The ex-Arsenal and Spurs defender reckons he could "bring something new to the table" as the Conservative nomination, but he's also acknowledged that he's not a frontrunner. Arsenal fans love getting in on a vote, so he might just be in with a chance of getting elected. Radio 1 and John Humphrys are teaming up for a very special episode of the quiz show, which forms part of the 20th anniversary celebrations of the station's annual Ibiza Weekend. The show will be filmed in the UK, so the Mastermind crew won't get to fly out to Ibiza and pay €80 to lose their shit in Amnesia. Bet John is gutted about that. We're hoping that the panellists will bring plenty of Balearic flavour to the studio and that Humphrys will ask questions about seminal house tunes, pills and lasers. No guests have been confirmed yet but Pete Tong and Calvin Harris are two of the names being thrown around. Mastermind is no stranger to music; last year Radio 1Xtra hosted a hip-hop themed edition of the show, which saw A.Dot, DJ Target, Lethal Bizzle and Semtex face the questions. Maybe they'll go for a jungle special next time. Fingers crossed. MasTerMiNd is haviNg iT large wiTh a whiTe isle special The Ibiza-themed edition will be broadcast on BBC iPlayer in August loNdoN is geTTiNg a weed-iNspired resTauraNT Inspired by "the fine art of getting high", Cannabistro, created by the good folks from Grub Club, is the capital's first weed-themed restaurant. The two-night pop-up will see diners chow down on a four- course meal based around "hazy memories of teenage years combined with the clichés of getting high". And no, Flamin' Hot Doritos are not on the menu. Speaking of the menu, it's actually split into two halves. 'The Way Up' is all about getting high, obviously, and features dishes such as oxtail ravioli, homegrown herb and hemp and beef bone broth, and hemp cured mackerel. 'The Munchies' is an interpretation of those classic stoner snacks – kebabs and Snickers. Yum. We probably should mention that no actual marijuana is going to be served, so if you're after a space cake, you'll have to frequent a different establishment. Cannabistro will open June 26th and 27th
