Their top DJ's and Presenters feed you an impressive selection of music keeping you in the loop with new tracks and taking you back with old school sounds. Playback provides new releases from up-and-coming artists and producers that are sure to get your taste buds burning as well as hitting it heavy with the classic club hits and anthems. Yes it's rough round the edges, and the sound can sometimes be patchy, but what lacks it makes up for in character and charm. it Launched in 2005 in Nottingham, the creation of Matt Tolfrey was one of the first labels of its kind with its musical focus solely on house, techno and disco. The first release of the label shortly after its launch was titled "The Extended Family EP" and captured the feel of the label, a place to nurture a core set of artists in their experimentation and growth. In 2006, the launch of their sub-label, Leftroom Limited, saw a more diverse focus, concentrating on everything from wobbly basslines to uplifting beats, straight up house and techno. With the success of both labels growing and an impressive alumni of up and coming homegrown talents, Tolfrey was asked to launch a label night at the famous T Bar in London, which provided many of the artists on the label a place to showcase their skills.
