INDIE ARTIST OF THE MONTH TOTALLY ENORMOUS EXTINCT DINOSAURS
This September sees the return of one of the most influential bands of the 60's to celebrate their golden jubilee.
Hailing from sunny California, the rock band released their debut album Surfin' Safari way back in October 1962 and went on to become one of the most internationally successful bands ever, selling over 100 million albums worldwide and were ranked number 12 on Rolling Stone magazines 2004
list of "100 Greatest Artists of all Time". Seen as the founders of surf- rock, the intimate shows at the Royal Albert Hall and Wembley arena look set to be as historic as the band themselves and after 50 years at the top of the rock world why not come along to join in the celebrations.
Affectionately known as TEED, this DJ has managed to smash the festival circuit this summer and has entertained us with his signature headpieces.
His well-composed dancers, whose cos- tumes put GaGa to shame, and smooth, sul- try electronic beats that will have you side- stepping and waving your arms around with the best of them. 'Household Goods' and 'Tapes&Money' are just two of the addictive tracks from his debut album 'Trouble' that have had success through electronic/dance
