The eighty-three-year-old primatologist
will have her life documented in the
feature-length documentary Jane, which
premiered at the Toronto Film Festival.
Deadline reports that the film was
edited together from around one-
hundred hours of archive footage of
Goodall interacting with chimpanzees
from back in 1962.
Jane was directed by acclaimed
documentary filmmaker Brett Morgen,
whose previous credits include Cobain:
Montage of Heck, Crossfire Hurricane,
and The Kid Stays in the Picture. Whilst
Oscar nominee Philip Glass composed
the soundtrack.
The documentary will be screened at
the London Film Festival this October.
