Up And Down
Kendall Stephens started the season out strong from deep.
His 24 three-pointers through mid-December already had
him in eighth on the all-time list for made three pointers by a
freshman.
Bryson Scott has been effective in the early part of his freshman season. He scored in double figures in seven of Purdue's
first 10 games and
proved to be a reliable
free throw shooter,
an area in which the
Boilermakers have
struggled.
Coach Matt Painter appears to be making a point with the official
during the Crossroads Classic as he eyes the scoreboard. The ninthyear coach drew his first technical foul of the season in a loss to
Bulldogs.

didn't have enough of these kind of plays by A.J.
Hammons through the first 10 games, as his team
was inconsistent getting the ball inside to the
sophomore center.
