Boilermakers Off To Highly Competitive Start

Whitney Bays has been a breath of fresh air off the bench,
providing enthusiasm and a much-needed inside presence.
Sophomore April Wilson has brought defensive pressure
to the Boilermaker backcourt, and as been a steady presence in her first full season as the primary point guard.
The Boilermakers had to deal with
tragedy again, as Liza Clemons'
fiance Jay Upshaw was killed in Fort
Wayne on Oct. 4. The team is honoring Upshaw by wearing royal blue
shoelaces throughout the season.
