Regional Parameters RP002-1.0.5 ©2022-2025 LoRa Alliance ® Page 49 of 116 The authors reserve the right to change specifications without notice. 3.7 EU433 MHz ISM Band 933 3.7.1 EU433 Preamble Format 934 Refer to Section 5, "Physical Layer". 935 3.7.2 EU433 ISM Band Channel Frequencies 936 The LoRaWAN can be used in the 433.05 to 434.79 MHz ISM band in ITU Region 1 as long 937 as the radio device EIRP is less than 12 dBm. 938 The end-device transmit duty-cycle SHALL be lower than 10%. 10 939 The LoRaWAN channel center frequency can be in the following range: 940 • Minimum frequency: 433.175 MHz 941 • Maximum frequency: 434.665 MHz 942 EU433 end-devices SHALL be capable of operating in the 433.05 to 434.79 MHz frequency 943 band and SHALL feature a channel data structure to store the parameters of at least 24 944 channels. A channel data structure corresponds to a frequency and a set of data rates usable 945 on this frequency. 946 The first three channels correspond to 433.175, 433.375, and 433.575 MHz with DR0 to DR5 947 and SHALL be implemented in every end-device. For devices compliant with [TS001-1.0.x], 948 those default channels SHALL NOT be modified through the NewChannelReq command. For 949 devices compliant with [TS001-1.1.x] and beyond, these channels MAY be modified through 950 the NewChannelReq command but SHALL be reset during the back-off procedure defined in 951 [TS001] to guarantee a minimal common channel set between end-devices and gateways of 952 all networks. Other channels can be freely distributed across the allowed frequency range on 953 a network-per-network basis. 954 The following table gives the list of frequencies that SHALL be used by end-devices to 955 broadcast the Join-Request message. The Join-Request message transmit duty-cycle SHALL 956 follow the rules described in chapter "Retransmissions Back-off" of the LoRaWAN [TS001] 957 specification document. 958 Modulation Bandwidth [kHz] Channel Frequency [MHz] LoRa DR / Bitrate Number of Channels Duty cycle LoRa 125 433.175 433.375 433.575 DR0 – DR5 / 0.3-5 kbps 3 < 1% Table 29: EU433 Join-Request channel list 959 960 10 Defined in the LoRaWAN Regional Parameters 1.0.2 specification.
