Music as Personalized Medicine: Experiment at SXSW
A wealth of scientific evidence demonstrates that music has a measurable impact on
the body and mind. Characteristics of music such as the tempo and rhythm can mod-
ulate physiological and neural pathways that are affected in diseases and impacted
by drugs. This session will pilot a new technology and conduct a living experiment to
analyze how the music you're listening to impacts your health.

Online Success Without Cat Videos or Crotch Hits
The live-action team from Rooster Teeth teams up with YouTube star Zach Anner to
discuss how one finds success online without cat videos or hitting your friends in the
crotch. They'll talk through how they make videos that appeal to the masses but don't
pander to them, and detail how to market your content and build your brand to a
sustainable level.

Genius or Narcissist: Challenges of Self-Producing
Our speakers share insights into how they successfully conceived, launched and
maintain their self-produced projects. We'll also ask questions about why we're see-

Streaming Is Creating A Better Music Experience
The 80s saw the emergence of music television, where artists could share their sound
with the masses. It showed that TV wasn't just for news, shows and movies anymore.
TV became a platform for musicians to showcase video and engage their fans right in
their living rooms. Join us to discuss how streaming has transformed music on TV and
and why it's so important for music to stay on the big screen.
