KEYNOTE SPEAKERS SEE THEM SPEAK EACH DAY AT 2:00PM IN EXHIBIT HALL 5 AND ALL SIMULCAST ROOMS Paola Antonelli Friday, March 13 Paola Antonelli's work investigates design's influence on everyday experience, often including overlooked objects and practices, and combining design, architecture, art, science and tech- nology. In addition to her role as Senior Curator of Architecture and Design at MoMA, Antonelli was appointed director of a new research and development initiative in 2012. She lectures frequently at high-level global conferences and coordinates cultural discussions at the World Economic Forum in Davos. A true interdisciplinary, energetic and generous cultural thinker, Paola was recently rated as one of the top one hundred most powerful people in the world of art by Art Review. Princess Reema Bint Bandar Al Saud Saturday, March 14 Entrepreneur and women's health leader Princess Reema bint Bandar Al Saud was raised in Washington, DC, returning to Saudi Arabia after graduating from George Washington University. She is an active leader in creating opportunities for women in Saudi Arabia. She co-founded the Zahra Breast Cancer Awareness Association and continues to raise awareness for breast cancer in Saudi Arabia including organizing the world's largest human pink ribbon in 2010, and being part of the first team of Saudi Arabian women to climb to Mount Everest Base Camp in 2012. She also founded Alf Khair, a corporate social responsibility initiative providing training and support to women in the workforce. She is currently the CEO of Alfa International, a luxury retail corporation. Princess Reema was named to Fast Company's Most Creative People in Business in 2014 and was also included on the Forbes Middle East 200 Most Powerful Arab Women 2014 list. Dr Martine Rothblatt Sunday, March 15 Martine Rothblatt is the Chairman and CEO of United Therapeutics, a biotechnology company. Previously, she created SiriusXM Satellite Radio, and was its Chairman and CEO. Dr Rothblatt's inventions transcend information technology and medicine, and most recently include an Alz- heimer's Cognitive Enabler that uses mindware to process mindfiles so that a mindclone of a person's consciousness results. The potential and ethics of this technology is described in her latest book, Virtually Human (St Martin's Press, 2014). She graduated from UCLA with Law, Business and Communications studies degrees, and in 2001 from the Royal London School of Medicine and Dentistry with a PhD in Medical Ethics. Logan Green Monday, March 16 Logan Green, co-founder and CEO of Lyft, has long been fascinated by innovation in transpor- tation, having grown up in Southern California with much of his childhood spent stuck in traffic. Lyft, the on-demand ridesharing platform, was founded in 2007 with Zimride as the first of two products built to create a more social, sustainable and affordable transportation system. Since unveiling the product in June 2012, Lyft has quickly become one of the fastest-growing tech companies with more than $330 million raised from leading investors Andreessen Horowitz, Coatue, Alibaba and Founders Fund and has been featured in The Economist, the New York Times and on NBC's TODAY Show. Lyft is currently in 65 cities across the country. Dr Astro Teller Tuesday, March 17 Dr Astro Teller currently oversees Google[x], Google's moonshot factory for building magical, audacious ideas that through science and technology can be brought to reality. Astro is also co-founder and a current Director of Cerebellum Capital, Inc, a hedge fund management firm whose investments are continuously designed, executed, and improved by a software system based on techniques from statistical machine learning. As a respected scientist and seasoned entrepreneur, Teller has successfully created and grown five companies and holds numerous US patents related to his work in hardware and software technology.
