12 Issue 82 / 2015 GUESTLIST guestlist.net NEW YEAR'S EVE ROUNDUP There's a shit ton of New Year's Eve parties going on across town, playing every kind of music going, so we've picked out some of the best to make sure you end 2015 on a high Viva Warriors - Studio 338 Viva Warriors return to 338 for something extra special. As well as tech house king and label boss Steve Lawler, many stars join the fun - the now solo project that is Art Department aka Jonny White, notorious party boy Skream, Hot Creations co-founder Lee Foss, Viva regulars Detlef and Anek, and rising star Patrick Topping. Percolate - Shapes The Percolate crew are throwing a massive New Year's Eve knees-up - this is the time of year where they really let their hair down and 2015 is going to be no exception. Headlining what is sure to be a seriously heady session is Eglo co-boss and deep crate-digger Floating Points plus New York techno talent Levon Vincent and acclaimed selector and Panorama Bar regular Tamo Sumo. Defected in the House - Ministry of Sound The New Year's Eve show at Ministry of Sound is the first and only Defected In The House party of 2015, and promises to be well worth the wait. Tensnake has a headline Box set, with Andrea Oliver and Purple Disco Machine also joining. Defected residents Sonny Fodera, Sam Divine, Copyright, Franky Rizardo and Simon Dunmore will also be out in force for the final fling of the year. Love Rave NYE - The Coronet United Festival and Moondance have teamed up to see out 2015 with a whole load of bass. With five arenas playing old skool, drum & bass, UK garage, jungle, and club classics, this is the place to be if you want to rave. The line-up is suitably stacked, featuring the likes of Matrix & Futurebound, DJ Luck & MC Neat, Jumpin Jack Frost, Randall, Ratpack, Bryan G, Brookes Brothers and many, many more. Reggae Roast Soundsys- tem - Dingwalls The Reggae Roast crew love to throw a party and they are throwing a big one to bring in 2016. Hosted by Brother Culture and Donovan Kingjay, and powered by the full RR sound system, the soundtrack comes courtesy of Channel One, Chopstick Dubplate, Vibration Lab, Adam Prescott, Interrupt, King's Hi-Fi, Shepdog, Leo Samson, and Clifford Junior. NYE House Party - The Social Hip Hop Karakoe and Southern Hospitality are teaming up to takeover both floors of The Social and turn the place into a hip-hop house party. The final Hip Hop Karaoke session of 2015 will kick things off in the basement, followed by Southern Hospitality DJs spinning the best in rap and R&B, whilst old school reigns supreme upstairs. And it's a double celebration because it's also host Bobby Champagne Jr.'s birthday! Club NME NYE Ball - KOKO KOKO are bringing in The Bohicas to headline this year's Club NME end of year special. With their killer hooks and razor sharp riffs, they'll have the dancefloor going wild right into the New Year. DJ Ed Wilder will be spinning indie and electronica, and DJ Alana B Devotion switches it up by throwing some remixes, dance and D&B tunes into the mix. NY:EE - TBA The EE family are going back to their roots by throwing a big old warehouse party for NYE. Go on a journey through house and techno with Hot Creation faves Infinity Ink, Waifs & Strays, Nonplus head honcho Boddika, Dense & Pika, mullet- over bossman Geddes, Shaun Reeves and more all taking turns on the decks in an untouched East London industrial space.
