R All eight of Purdue's losses are against teams that have
already gained bowl eligibility.
R Purdue's second-quarter
touchdown was the Boilermakers' first score since the Nebraska game on Oct. 12. It was the
first trip inside an opponents'
20-yard line since the Sept. 28
game vs. Northern Illinois.
R The Boilermakers' two
sacks against Iowa were the
most since recording five
against Indiana State in Week
2. It was only the second time
this season that Purdue has had
more than one in a game; and
they were the first sacks recorded by the Boilermakers since
the Nebraska game.
R Danny Etling's 53.6 completion percentage (15 of 28)
marked the first time he's been
above 50 percent in a game this
season. It was his fifth game.

Nov. 23: Illinois
Illinois' losing streak swelled
to five games Saturday after a
52-35 loss to Indiana.
In the loss, Illini quarterback
Nathan Scheelhaase threw for
a career-high 495 yards. As a
team, the Illini racked up 612
total yards of offense, just the
11th time in school history that
a team had 600-plus total yards
in game.
Illinois had more than 600
one other time this season,
compiling 601 yards against Miami (Ohio) on Sept. 28.
Senior Steve Hull amassed
224 yards receiving, the second
best single-game total in school
history. Hull also became one of
three players in school history
to have 200-plus yards receiving in a game.
Hull came to Illinois as a
safety and spent his last three
seasons on the defensive side
of the ball, but made the transition to offense last offseason.
Illinois will be looking to snap
its 19-game conference losing
streak against the team that started the skid, Ohio State, in 2011.
