Women Off To Fast Start
Purdue 2-0 for eighth-straight time under Versyp
Junior forward Whitney Bays is
showing signs her knee is healthy
as she averaged 19.5 minutes in
the first two games. She scored
13 points in victories over the Ball
State and IUPUI and averaged five
rebounds per game.
Senior guard KK Houser opened the season on
a tear with 21 points against Ball State and 20
at IUPUI. As importantly, she had six assists
and just four turnovers in the first two games.

Liza Clemons performed well inside for Purdue, and also
managed to hand out a team-high five assists in the win
over Ball State. She followed that up three days later with
a team-best nine rebounds in the win over IUPUI.
