Spencer is currently on the physically unable to perform list for Dallas, but he'll be on the roster for the start of the season. The defensive end, who had knee surgery at the beginning of last season, could have re- mained on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list, thus putting him out until Week 7. "I'm happy about it," Spencer told the Dallas Morning News. "I'm still working to get back on the field. That's the main goal. I think (Jerry Jones) did it, so I'll be able to get some practice when I'm ready and we don't have to wait for that six-week mark."
